Our privately owned self catering cottages are situated at Adderstone Hall Steading on the B1341 from Bamburgh and in the village of Belford in Northumberland.

 

Adderstone Hall is an historic Estate once in the ownership of The Forster Family of Bamburgh fame.

Bamburgh is renowned as the ancient seat of the Kingdom of Northumbria. With magnificent sandy beaches, an impressive castle and access to neighbouring coastal and rural villages.

 

Belford Village is the nearby old market town and home to the Blue Bell Hotel an 17th Century Coaching Inn. Belford Village is situated on the old route between London and Edinburgh.

 

This is particularly convenient to explore the coast with Lindisfarne (Holy Island), Bamburgh and Seahouses nearby as well as the Cheviot Hills.
